How can we reduce the climate impact of new construction to just 50kg CO2/m²?

This is the crucial question that drives the #Uselesstuff think tank. We bring together leading experts, architects, researchers, contractors and property owners to co-create groundbreaking solutions for a more sustainable construction industry.

What is the #uselesstuff think tank?

Tankesmedjan #uselesstuff is an innovation project focused on drastically reducing the carbon footprint of new buildings. The project is divided into four teams, spread across Sweden, and led by dedicated Champions:

  • East (Stockholm): Daniel Lauri

  • West (Gothenburg/London): Kayin Dawoodi & Guayente Minchot Ballarin

  • Centre (Borlänge): Elias Baena

  • South (Malmö): Martin Fröderberg

These teams are working together to explore new methods, materials and processes to achieve the goal of a significantly reduced climate impact.
